The Bank of East Asia (China) Co., Ltd. (“BEA China” or the "Bank") would like to notify all customers that certain fraudulent messages have been circulating online recently, stating that Mainland customers can remotely open Hong Kong BEA accounts through intermediaries. The Bank would like to stress that it has not designated any intermediaries to open Hong Kong BEA accounts for customers. Customers who are suspicious about the identity of anyone who claims to promote products or services on behalf of the Bank should call the Bank’s Customer Service Hotline at 95382(Mainland) or at (852) 2211 1333(Hong Kong)  for verification.
