-      The minimum deposit amount for personal accounts is RMB50 ;

-      The minimum deposit amount for corporate accounts is RMB100,000 ;

-      Total or partial early withdrawals can be made on both personal and corporate time deposits. The remaining principal must be above the minimum deposit amount after a partial withdrawal ;

-      If you decide not to withdraw the deposit , the principal , together with the interest (after any taxes) will be deposited in a new time deposit automatically . The term of the new time deposit will be the same as the previous time deposit and partial withdrawals are not permitted . To use this function, please inform us when you open your time deposit account .

-      Time deposits are available in various currencies including the Hong Kong dollar(HKD) , Canadian dollar(CAD) , US dollar(USD) , Euro(EUR) , Japanese Yen(JPY) , Australian dollar(AUD) , and Pound Sterling(GBP) . Deposits in other foreign currencies can be arranged upon request* ;

-      The minimum deposit amount for personal accounts is USD2,000 or its equivalent . For corporate accounts , the minimum deposit amount is USD5,000 or its equivalent ;

-      Preferential deposit rates are offered for deposits exceeding USD3 million or its equivalent ;

-      Total or partial early withdrawals can be made on both personal and corporate time deposits . The remaining principal must be above the minimum deposit amount after a partial withdrawal .

 *The currency types available for deposits may be restricted by national banking regulations .

 Note : Cash deposits / withdrawals are regulated by the related banking regulations based on the nature of the account .

-      RMB call deposits include 7-day time deposits and 1-day time deposits where you simply need to give 1 day or 7 days notice in advance of when you want to withdraw the funds in full ;

-      Foreign currency call deposits only include 7-day time deposits ;

-      Enjoy a higher interest rate than a savings account, but maintain the flexibility to withdraw your deposits when needed with only 7 days advance notice required ;

-      The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts for the different deposit types are as follows :

RMB personal account : RMB 50,000 ;

Foreign currency personal account : USD 7,000 or its equivalent ;

RMB corporate account : deposit of RMB 500,000 and withdrawal of RMB 100,000 ;

Foreign currency corporate account : deposit of USD 70,000 or its equivalent and withdrawal of USD 10,000 or its equivalent .

-      Individuals or corporate customers may also choose the flexible 7-day time deposits . Compared with the regular 7-day time deposits , withdrawal and interest payment methods are more flexible , but the minimum deposit amount and withdrawal amount are the same . This service is only available for RMB deposits .
